Sea of flowers: My yellow wish list.

Summer's nearly here and yellow is the colour for summer. It's fresh, vibrant and full of life and it just makes everyone happy.

I don't think I see enough yellow in the street tho. People tend to be a little bit scared of wearing yellow but I love it and styled properly can be a stunning outfit!

So here's my yellow wishlist for this summer. I didn't put any brands or prices because I found them all on Polyvore and they're tend to be quite expensive (e.g. the shoes are nearly £400!) so when I do a wish list like this I tend to go around the high street shops trying to find the most similar option to it and it normally works!

My Birthday Wish List

With my birthday just a week away I thought it was the perfect time to create a birthday wish list. That said; if you’re a close friend please ignore it. We’ve probably already talked about how much I need just plain tank tops and stuff to take to America and that’s all I need. Now if I wasn’t going on a very expensive holiday and if I didn’t need other (more important) things, this is what I would love.

River Island Purse – I am a big fan of RI purses. They have plenty of card storage which are good for all my discount cards and they last forever!

FiloFax – I’ve been a little bit obsessed with organizing lately and seeing as I’m moving into a new place with my boyfriend in about a month it’d be perfect to have one of these for the household organization.

Handbag – I’ve always liked the Native American style bags but I can’t ever seem to find the perfect one. The one in this picture is pretty close tho!

New Look Kimono – I absolutely love Kimonos but they seem to be something I can’t spend money on. I don’t know why it is, so it’d be great as a birthday present!

MAC Gift Card – We all know my obsession with lipsticks and make up.

Tablet – I know this is a long shot, but I’ve wanted a tablet for quite some time now and it’d be perfect to keep in touch while we’re in America.

About Time DVD – I loved this film when I watched it for the first time, I might even say it’s one of my favorite romantic comedies and it would look amazing on my new DVD shelf.

Flowers – What girl doesn’t like flowers on her birthday?!

COACHELLA 2014 FASHION!

There are a couple of weekends a year where celebrities come out, play and party hard like the rest of us. Sure they’ve got VIP or backstage pass; they probably don’t have to pee in disgusting portable toilets and unlike the festivals I’ve been to, there surely won’t be a new poo outside their tent every morning.  

Indigo, California turns into a celebrity hot spot when Coachella Festival arrives and this year was no less.

Now that the festival is finish we can sit down and judge the Coachella fashion! :) 

Shay Mitchell - Does Shay ever looks bad!?

  

Alessandra Ambrosio - I absolutely love both looks but those cowboy boots OMG! I WANT THEM.

   

Vanessa Hudgens - I love all three looks, specially the skirt on the second photo. Simple and not over the top.

Rita Ora - What on earth is she wearing?! As much as you try to convince me, I'll never like the girl and I absolutely hate her fashion sense 90% of the time. 

 

Kylie and Kendall Jenner - I absolutely love Kylie's cowboy rock chick look but what's with the feathers (on the right)! As much as I love Kendall's hair, what she's wearing looks something Morticia would wear to a funeral. Not cool for a festival!

Paris Hilton - What the hell Paris. It's a festival, not a beach. 

Keisha - Ok Keisha, really pretty playsuit but what's going on with your hair!?

Hilary Duff - What am I gonna say about Hil? I love her and I always love what she wears and she hasn't dissapointed here. Very simple and fresh. Love it!

Selena Gomez - Oh no Selena! I love her but I really don't get what she's wearing. Take those curtains off and I'm sure your oufit will look awesome!

AMERICA TRIP WISH LIST 1

Hello!

It’s now less than three months until we go to America and I could not be more excited! I have been sorting out a budget plan, a list with where to eat, what to see, what to take, etc. Believe it or not, it is a lot of work to be this organized!

On top of that, I’m moving houses just a day before we head off so there is so much that I have  to do for the next 70 days.

What I’m struggling with the most about is trying to decide what clothes to take. We’re gonna be on the road in the states for 31 days and that’s a hell of a lot of clothes that I will need, I mean, how will I fit a month worth of clothes in a suitcase!  

It gets reaaaally hot in Las Vegas in July so I will need loads of tank tops and shorts but then I will need a big jacket for the cold nights in the Arizona desert. Then apparently it’s very windy in San Francisco and then again really hot in Los Angeles! So it seems like it will be a rollercoaster of climate that I will have to accommodate clothes for. Also, I’ll need clothes for different occasions, the crazy non-stop visiting tourist attractions, nice dinners out, clubbing, beach, walks, theme parks, etc. I hope you feel my pain!

I already have loads of shorts, leggings and dresses ready but I want to get a lot of different tops before we go so I’ve made a wish list with some of the tops I hopefully will be buying very soon!

10 Things I love about Pinterest!

One of my favorite websites and new-ish obsessions is Pinterest. I’m sure you know what it is and most of you are probably as crazy about it as me, but if you haven’t heard about it, Pinterest is an internet platform for collecting and organizing things you love.

Let me explain that. Are one of those (like I used to) that favorites all the interesting websites and then you end up with about a thousand links for websites on your navigation bar you can’t even remember what are they there for or if you’re actually looking for one in particular it can take you ages to find it in between so many? Well, with Pinterest you can keep them all store online and categorized as you like.

You can find just about anything in there so say you like looking up recipes and make up, you can do a ‘Board’ called ‘Recipes’ and another one called ‘Make Up’ and then search the millions of recipes and ‘pin’ the ones you like and ‘store’ them in the correct board you’ve just created. Then next time you want to have a look at that recipe in particular you can just visit your Pinterest and find it straight away.

Honestly, it’s the best thing ever! That’s why I decided to do a list with 10 reasons why I love Pinterest.

• It's my new Google. I barely use Google anymore. I can find pretty much everything I'm looking for on Pinterest and in most ocassions I find it a lot quicker and easier!
• Make-Up and Hair tutorials. Type make up tutorials and there will be thousands of photos with the tutorials so you can see straight away if you're interested or not. (And most of them will lead you to blogs that you've never visited before!)
• Clothes. There is just so many ideas in there for us the not-very fashionable ones!
• Home décor. I've created my whole future home on Pinterest. Ideas for walls, furniture, anything really! I tell you now, my Pinterest house is amazing!
• Tips and How To's. It doesn't matter what kind of tips you're looking for, you'll find them on Pinterest and most of them will be personal tips which I always find million times better than commercial ones! Same with How to guides. 
• Travelling. I've been planning our trip to America for ages and trust me, the most sucessful links I've found have been on Pinterest.
• DIY's. There is thousands of craft's, clothes, décor and pretty much any DIY you might be looking for.
• Recipes. As much as I love cooking sometimes I lose the inspiration. Then I look on Pinterest and I get it all back within seconds! 
• Weddings. If you know me, you should know how much I adore weddings and thanks to Pinterest I already have mine planned (in my head and on my board of course). When I'm actually planning my real wedding I won't have much more to do.
• It's fun! Trust me, once you get the hang on if you will spend hours 'pinning' and it'll only seem like you've been on it for 5 minutes!

Regrets

Sooner or later the day you realize there’s a lot of things that you can’t do anymore will come and no, I don’t mean Bungee Jumping, I know a woman who did it at 67 for the first time. Some things will be very hard or even impossible to do, but I will always want to remember that I’ve lived life the way I wanted and hopefully my purpose in life will be achieved by then. I never want to regret not having done some things when I’ve had the chance.

So here’s my list of things I believe we will regret when we’re old.

1.    Not travelling the world. To me, the further away the better, I’ll visit Tenby and Spain when I’m older.

2.    Staying in a bad relationship. Remember, if you decide to stay in a unhappy relationship, you’ve decided to be unhappy’. Believe me, every single person who comes out of a bad relationship says ‘I wish I had done it sooner’.

3.    Not protecting ourselves from the sun. I know I will definitely regret it when I get a lot of wrinkles, moles and other skin problems in the future.

4.    Missing the opportunity of seeing your favorite bands live. Some of them are impossible, for example, I love Skid Row but the real Skid Row are not together anymore so I have missed my chance on those ones, but I’m definitely trying to see every single of my favorite bands that are still together live.

5.    Being scared of doing things. We’ll always look back and think, why was I so scared of doing that?

6.    Not making exercise a priority. I am probably one of the laziest people on earth. I hate sports and I hate exercise and yet I’m already regretting not getting into it at a younger age.

7.    Staying in a job you hate. Sure, I get that we all have to pay bills and rent, but always try to find it doing something that you like. Sure as hell I’m not gonna be waitressing all my life.

8.    Not realizing how beautiful you are. Most of us spend hours, days and weeks feeling sorry for ourselves and wishing we’d look different. Look at yourself in the mirror and find the things that you do love about yourself. We’re all beautiful.

9.    Being scared of saying ‘I Love You’. I’ve been scared of those three words all my life and I am learning to become comfortable with them now and I assure you it feels great to say them out loud when you really feel them.

10.  Not listening to your parent’s advice. Sure, we all know when we’re young we don’t even want to listen to them but I am pretty sure when I grow up and they’re not around anymore I will miss them annoying me with their advice. And the best of all, we’ll realize it was all so true what they said.

11.  Caring too much of what people say about you. In twenty years I won’t even remember what some people may have said about me and how much I cared back then.

12.  Feeling hate or grudge for someone. It means someone lives in your head without paying rent. It’s not worth it. What’s the point on remembering something that hurt you in the past? Let it go, you’ll feel so much better.

13.  Not defending yourself. I know I’m one of those that always think, oh, I should’ve said this, I should’ve done that. No more.

14.  Not volunteering. Doing things for others feels great. You will never regret it.

15.  Not taking care of your teeth. When we’re old and we’re missing a few teeth we’ll regret not taking care of them earlier on.

16.  Not learning how to cook. Come on, it’s not too hard. Learn at least one dish that you can be proud of and cook it for other people. It will feel great when they tell you how tasty it is!

17.  Not finishing what you start. I am the queen of not finishing what I start, but this blog is a challenge for me and so far I’m doing great!

18.  Not taking risks, specially in love. Love someone, even if it feels like the biggest mistake of your life at some point, you will look back and think, well, at least I loved for real.

19.  Not making time for your friends. We all need friends, and we’ll need them even more when we’re old and everyone around us is moving on with their lives.

20.  Worrying too much about stuff. Like my dad always say, if it has a solution, why worry? If it doesn’t, why worry?

21.  Creating drama for no reason. What’s the point?! I surely don’t need it.

22.  Not appreciating the time you’re having. I sure do. The whole point of this post is to make people (and myself) realize that you have to live the moment, try to be a better person, enjoy every minute and not let the little things ruin what could be an amazing life.

Girl Crushes

Let’s not lie. Celebrities. We all love them, we all hate them, we’re all jealous and we’d all like to be them or at least to look just like them. In my case, I accepted long time ago that I’d never remotely look like those super stars on TV. I realized that hating them didn’t really help and loving them is just so much easier.

This is just a little post with my own celebrity crushes. I do have about a hundred so I’ve had to select my top 8. Here they are:

Hilary Duff – Who doesn’t love Hilary Duff? I remember seeing her in Lizzie McGuire and she became my favorite Disney star by far. She’s beautiful and she just seems like such a nice girl. Kudos for her as well for updating her Instagram frequently.

Lucy Hale – She’s one of the beauties from one of my favorite TV shows Pretty Little Liars. She’s so petite and her style is just a-mazaaaang!

Shakira – Well, being a Latina myself I couldn’t let her out. She’s not just a pop/latin singer. I’ll let you know that she’s a producer, a songwriter, a philanthropist and she can speak 5 languages perfectly!  She wrote her first song at only four years old with her mum’s piano. I’ve been following her for years and can’t even describe how much I admire her.

Jennifer Lopez – Another Latina on the block. She’s just stunning, she has the best figure ever and I ALWAYS like her characters in whatever film she’s on. I also love her first ever album. 

Kat Von D – It’s no secret I love tattoos and I would have my whole body covered if I could and if I looked like her I’d dress in leather just like her, have very long rocky hair and just be awesome.

Leighton Meester – She’s a real natural beauty. Leighton is so simple and sophisticated. She always looks immaculate and so elegant.

Rachel McAdams – Well, all I need to say about her is that she’s the main character in my three favorite movies; The Notebook, The Vow and About Time. Of course I have a crush on her.

Sophia Bush – I don’t know what’s about her, she has the most beautiful eyes ever and she played Brooke, the best character on TV ever created.

I'll see you in California...

2014 looks like it's gonna be a great year for me so I wanted to share with you guys some of the things that are happening. 

One of them is our trip to North America in July. My boyfriend and I have been saving for ages to make this vacation the holiday of our lives and it really does look like it’s gonna be amazing!

Going such a long distance for only a few days was for us something stupid so we decided to go the extra mile and stay there for a whole month! There is so much to see over there that a week or two just doesn’t do the job.

I’ll start with our first stop, Las Vegas.

I've already been to Vegas in 2007 and it was so good that I swore I'd go back again sometime. Last time I stayed in the Planet Hollywood and this time we're gonna be staying at the Luxor Hotel at the bottom of the strip.

We're in Vegas for 5 nights before moving to the next stop, Arizona.

One of my long-time dreams has always been to visit an american ranch and see the sunset sitting on a horse and finally this is gonna happen here, at the Grand Canyon Ranch.

I've been doing a lot of research about the ranch and all I can read is good stuff, so I'm well chuffed we decided to go for this one in particular. There's real cowboys singing songs while you're having dinner and there's a bonfire every night where they tell old stories about cowboys and indians.

I am so excited about this! 

So, we'll be staying here for two night before going back to Las Vegas for one more night, this time in the Ceaser's Palace!

The next day we'll have to get up very early to pick up a car and drive to San Francisco. 
Oh, I haven't mentioned that the car we've booked is a mustang convertible so wait for the tacky 'middle of the desert with a yellow mustang convertible' photo, cuz it's happening!
There's a lot we want to see in the way, Ghost Town in particular. 

Aparently it's an old western town in the middle of the nowhere. Of course nobody lives there anymore but all the buildings are intact, so like the name suggests, it's like a ghost town. 

So, we're expecting to arrive in San Francisco in the evening/night.

I remember watching 'That's Raven' and 'Charmed' when I was younger and always wanted to see those beautiful hills and streets. Apart from Alcatraz, the golden gate bridge and a few more things, we've realised we don't really know what else is in San Francisco so we've spent hours typing 'things to do in San Francisco' and the list is ridiculously large so I'm sure we won't have any time to feel like we don't know what to do! 
We'll be staying in Union Square for 4 nights before picking up another rental car for 8 days.

Here's when it get's tricky. Up until now, all the hotels have been booked and we have a plan, but from the moment we pick up the car on the 13th, we literally have no idea what we're doing until the 21st when we have to return the car in Los Angeles.

So, we're gonna be driving down the California Coast, the famous Highway 1 for about 6 days stopping along the way and seeing as much as we can possibly see!

Before we arrive to Los Angeles we're stopping in Joshua Tree National Park to visit some of Jac's family who live and work there. They work in a summer camp so they'll be able to show us around and I'm sure there will be loads of activities for us to do!

Once we leave Joshua Tree behind we'll be driving to our next stop, Los Angeles where we'll spend the rest of our holidays until the 31st and we'll do day trips to San Diego, Tijuana and other places we're still deciding too.

So here's another place we've all seen in the movies and on tv, but we really want to explore it properly. Of course we'll go to all the tourist places and maybe even do a tour around the celebrity houses but I really am taking my time here to discover the real L.A. The L.A that we don't see in movies and hopefully we'll see something spectacular.



This trip is only three months and a half away but it feels like it can't come soon enough! It will definately be a huge experience and I can't wait to write about everything we see over there! So stay tune!
